Overview

Thirsty is a mobile application operated by TCDJ Corp. hosted by Castle Innovations ("we," "us," or "our") that lets golfers easily flag down the beverage cart on a golf course by sharing their on-course location with cart staff. The app does not currently take or process food or beverage orders. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Thirsty app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using Thirsty, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect a display name or username. Usernames may be generated by the app and do not need to include your real name. The app does not collect your email address.

Location information. With your permission, the app collects your device's location when you request the beverage cart so that cart staff can find you on the course. Location is used only to fulfill your cart request and is not tracked when you do not have an active request. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings, though cart staff may not be able to locate you accurately.

Cart request information. We collect details of the requests you make through the app, such as the time of the request and your location on the course when it was made.

Payment information. The app does not take orders or process payments at this time. Any purchases you make from the beverage cart are handled directly between you and the cart staff, outside the app.

Device and usage information. We may collect standard technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash or diagnostic data to help us operate and improve the app.

How We Use Your Information

To relay your cart request and on-course location to beverage cart staff
To communicate request status to you and to beverage cart staff
To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app
To prevent fraud or misuse of the service
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the service:

Course and cart staff. Your username, request details, and on-course location are shared with beverage cart operators at the golf course so they can respond to your request.
Service providers. We use third-party providers for services such as cloud hosting and app analytics. These providers may process your information only to perform services on our behalf.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain account and request information for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the service and meet legal and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Beta Testing

If you use Thirsty through Apple's TestFlight program, the email address used to invite you is handled by Apple to deliver the beta invitation; it is not collected or stored by the Thirsty app. Apple may also collect information such as crash logs and feedback you submit, as described in Apple's TestFlight terms and privacy policy. Beta versions of the app are for testing purposes, and features and data handling may change before public release.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections between the app and our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Thirsty is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Choices

You may disable location permissions in your device settings at any time.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Your continued use of Thirsty after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
